Today i will show you some budget phones from Micromax which runs latest Android Kitkat 4.4+.
Micromax is a top grosser in this year by launching some awesome phone like Canvas 4, Canvas Turbo and Canvas Knight. Here are some other phones from Micromax with 1 GB RAM and Android Kitkat...

Micromax Canvas A1 :-

The Micromax Canvas A1 is Google verified phone with Android One series, running Kitkat 4.4. Screen is 4.5 inches with FWVGA 854 x 480 pixels resolution, some part is used by the onscreen buttons as physical dedicated navigation buttons are missing. There is LED notification. There is accelerometer, proximity, light, gyro and magnetic sensors.

There is 1GB RAM and 4GB storage. Of the 4GB ROM 2.1GB is available and of 1GB RAM about 646 MB is available on the first boot. OTG is not supported and you can move / install apps on external storage. The huge data files will install on external storage
It is using MediaTek MT6582 quad core chipset @ 1.3GHz with Mali 400 MP GPU. Performance is lag free.

Rear camera is auto focus and can shoot in 5MP resolution. Front camera is Fixed Focus capable of shooting in 2.4MP resolution. There is LED flash for rear camera. Rear camera can record FHD videos. The Canvas A1 can easily play 1080p videos.

Micromax Unite 2 :- 


I am currently owning this phone, it is a nice phone with good quality gaming experience.
If you are a gamer, then this phone is best for you in this list.
Unite 2 is running on Android 4.4 Kitkat.
 The TFT IPS LCD screen is 4.7 inches with WVGA (800 x 480 pixels resolution). Colour reproduction and viewing angles are good. Touch is smooth and responsive. There are only 3 sensors – accelerometer, proximity and light. There is LED notification – it blinks green on notification and turns red on charging and when fully charged (over 90%) it turns green again.
The Unite 2 comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage plus 32GB external card support. Of the 1GB RAM you get around 666MB free on the first boot. Of the 4GB storage, 1.67GB is the internal storage and 0.89GB is the space allocated for apps. The free space for apps is 646MB. The good part is that you can install apps on the external storage. OTG is supported.
The handset houses the commonly used 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6582 quad core chipset (Cortex A7) with Mali 400 MP GPU. The performance is lag free and even the gaming experience is pretty awesome.

Micromax Canvas Fire 2 :-

It is a phone for music lovers. With its sleek design and I phone type look, it is powered by Android 4.4 Kitkat.It is called fire because of dual firing speaker’s (two front speakers). This handset comes with a 4.5 inch screen with FWVGA i.e. 854 x 480 pixels resolution. Viewing angles are okay, touch is smooth and responsive. Colour reproduction also looks good.
There are just 2 sensors – Accelerometer and proximity. Light sensor is missing.
The A104 comes with 1GB RAM and 4GB internal storage with micro SD card support of up to 32GB. Of the 1GB RAM, 633MB is available on the first boot. There is 0.89GB space for apps (694MB free) and 1.53GB space for phone storage. OTG is not supported. You can install some of the apps on external storage.
It is using the well known MediaTek MT6582 quad core chipset clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali 400 MP GPU. Performance is smooth. This hardware is used on many other handsets.

All these phones are good enough to buy and comes under an impressive price tag under Rs. 7000. If you think 7,000 is too much, then think twice, all these three phones are giving you 1 GB Ram, which is impressive.
