The Google's online video streaming platform Youtube launched "Youtube Music", an online music app for the music lovers. In this app users can browse songs or music videos with ease. This app is currently launched for the Android and iOS only and is available on the Playstore and iOS apps market iTunes.
Its a well built app with various options for searching music. This app has alos contain a music only mode in which user can only listen to music without videos.
The Youtube officials also launches Youtube Red alongwith the Youtube Music, which gives use a premium add free experience of Youtube, costing $9.99 /- month. Currently this service is only available in United States, but has future plans for the global.
Youtube Music becomes a great rival for the online music streaming giant Spotify, which has more than 75 million of active users. Also in India Youtube Music may give tough competitions to Saavn & Gaana apps,
which are currently used by Indian smartphones users. The app is not very successful yet, with a low installation of 5,000.
